- About Nutrition Basics -

Nutrition Basics was born out of an intention to provide low-cost education to a wide variety of people.

The goal is to give you the most relevant, sometimes controversial, but hopefully always useful information. Delivered in a way that you can use today to make your own health decisions. I teach Simple Steps to Change. Think of each small change you make as a monthly deposit to a savings account. It may only be$10/month but over 50 years that adds up. The accumulated benefits of small, lasting changes make all the difference between aging with joy vs aging in pain. Getting started is the hardest part. Starting small makes the process of lifestyle change more approachable. That first small change will seem monumental because it’s new. But soon, you’ll be unstoppable. 

The Simple Steps approach is the easiest way I’ve found to integrate lifestyle medicine. You’ve probably heard the 80/20 rule, right? 80% of your success comes from 20% of your effort .Sure, it might take you a few years to get there, but over a lifetime? These small changes add up to create a radical change in your health. This is how healthy people make it all seem so easy.

Feel better now to enjoy life more fully. I do this by teaching you how to reduce the inflammation underlying all chronic disease
